Return to the Forbidden Planet by Bob Carlton
An amateur production by arrangement with Josef Weinberger Ltd

Forbidden Planet - Audience FeedbackABOUT THIS SHOW:
Blasting off after the completion of the professional 25th anniversary tour, CLICK's summer production is the award winning "Return to the Forbidden Planet" ("Shakespeare's Rock n Roll Musical").

Bob Carlton's musical is based on the Leslie Neilson B-Movie "Forbidden Planet" which in turn is loosely based on Shakespeare's "The Tempest". RTTFP the musical is written using Shakespeare (an amalgamation of a lot of the plays) and it is a "Juke Box Musical" with songs from the 50's and 60's eg. Wipe Out, Great Balls of Fire and the Monster Mash .

Join Captain Tempest and his all singing, all dancing AND all instrument playing cast…You’ll be dancing in the aisles!
